Credit Transfer
Students or LMP’s requesting credit transfer from another school will need to provide existing records (transcripts, certificates, ect.) from their previous school or schools.
Students will be given monetary value for each hour that they have completed equivalent to the Massage Connection program. Massage Connection is on the approved program list for Washington State and provides more than the required amount of hours. LMP’s from other states will be required to attend any hours required by Washington law not shown in transcripts. Transferring LMP’s must pass all final exams on these subjects. LMP’s will also be allowed to transfer specialty courses from their transcripts to receive credit for Massage Connection specialty courses.
You must successfully complete and pass the National Certification for Massage and Bodywork Examination or State Examination.
Washington State Massage Licensure
Massage Statutes and regulations are administered by the Washington State Board of Massage Examination consisting of a written, multiple choice exam. According to Washington State law students are required a minimum of 500 hours of classroom instruction from an approved training program. Curriculum requirements are as follows:
