About our 600 hour program

Most massage schools are owned and operated by a corporate conglomerate, we are a privately owned school giving the students a voice to be heard. We strive to give you the best education possible providing you with a warm and inviting atmosphere, a curriculum that is fun and also challenges you to become an excellent massage therapist. Rather than pressuring you to enroll in school or giving you a "sales pitch", we will listen to what your goals are for school and future as well as gain an understanding of your current situation and discuss how we can help you achieve your goals.

As massage therapy grows into a major healthcare profession, society insists that the level of training and the excellence of delivery as well as the ethical standards of it's graduates continue to improve. That's why at Massage Connection our curriculum focuses on the scientific knowledge of the body, a variety of advanced massage techniques, communication skills and business practices to create successful massage therapists. We understand that it is not just knowing massage techniques that create an effective and successful massage therapist, we teach a client centered philosophy, because no two clients are the same.

Most massage schools differ in their focus. There are massage therapy schools that have a strong focus on anatomy, physiology and pathology. Other schools are dedicated to teaching treatment massage and pain management courses, while yet another group is more focused on relaxation techniques and spa treatments. Massage Connection offers a combination of both Eastern and Western courses to provide the future massage therapist and/or bodyworker with a more comprehensive backround. Massage therapy and bodywork obviously have a very broad, diverse range of applications. At Massage Connection we provide an introduction to several modalities such as: Shiatsu, Craniosacral, Anterior cervical, Reiki, Thai, Sports and Active Release added to the "traditional" methods that are included in the program. It is important to appreciate the similarities and differences of the various bodywork applications.
